A lying tongue, like a drop of dark root beer in a cup of clear Sierra Mist, defiles the entire oneness of oneself.

He comes saying that it is the truth, but it is a lie. He's a fool and he doesn't care about the truth. The same mouth that spreads lies can spread the truth also. Like the drop of root beer - as it hits the Sierra Mist, it diffuses across the entire cup and no change can be seen. It escapes the eye of the concessionist and he doesn't see that the cup of Sierra Mist has been defiled. So can a truthful mouth bear a lying tongue. Wherein lies deception. A truthful mouth cannot bear a lying tongue, so as a cup of Sierra Mist and Root Beer may taste awkward. The words of the Lord purifies one of a lying tongue, having accepted Christ and forgiving one of all sins committed and all lies. But so long as we exist in the flesh, we will still have to bear the trouble of acquiescing to lie, and being susceptible to lies ourselves, as we cannot escape imperfection on our own, but through Christ.

But, a fool says in his mind, "there is no God." He still has a lying tongue. And the tongue, that produces words, is powerful - even though it is such a tiny part. A sailboat is able to be controlled by its rudder, a tiny little part at the end that steers the entire boat. And the steerer of the boat able to steer through a part at the front. A horse's mouth is directed by small bits on its mouth. And the steerer of the hourse able to direct through a fine piece of rope. So is the tongue able to have power over our paths. But if one is speaking and thinking the words of our Lord, His words will have power over our lives and He will be the director in control. And who's capable hands do you want to leave your life to? God's hands would be the safest and wisest choice.

But a lying tongue is dangerous. Every breath of air we draw in through our God-given lungs is a precious gift. And if we use those lungs to draw in cigarette smoke and kill off what we are given, are we appreciating what God has given us? So a cigarette is thrown into a forest. A tiny ember fed by the wind is able to ignite the entire forest and burn it to ashes. So is the influence of a lying tongue.

He came to me attempting to incite an argument. A dispute. He spread the lie, which was defeated because I am getting to know the truth and am being given understanding. Like rain on a rooftop, it rolled right off. The fool's tongue spreads his double-minded lies. But what is his motivation for wanting to spread such a lie? What does he get in return for inciting me to a dispute? He is motivated by desire. The spirit of the fool yearns inside jealously. He wants wind to his flame so that he may spread his lies. He wants attention. Those that see his lies, take them as truths, and take delight in him. They are lead, thinking what are lies are truth, into deception. Will you be deceived? He boasts and attempts to gain attempts to spread more lies. He wants attention. He desires your ears so that he may boast and fulfill the jealousy in his spirit. Will you be a wind to his flame?

Desire turns to sin and sin to hatred. Hatred is a part of evil. So is not desire evil? Do you know that satan, the tempter, was able to gain deception over Eve by putting the sweat of his body and the hair of his armpit in the river in Eden as she drank, allowing desire to come over her? The lying tongue of this fool is fueled by desire, but don't be a wind to his flame. He will contradict my words, as a man of God. Because he is a fool saying, "there is no God." But the words of the Lord cannot be contradicted. I'm not worried about him, but I am worried about those that he may deceive.

Will you be deceived?

ok-first timer at your blog, but I have a question about your links. You have all of these Christian Bible study type links and a few for Judaism, but none for Islam. Is there any particular reason that you chose not link in any way Christianity to Islam?

Simply because I haven't yet studied anything pertaining to Islam, though I do have a few bookmarks. I put the websites that have been helpful to me to the side.
I will in the future, but I haven't yet, so I would be condoning deception if I didn't know the truth about Islam and know what is on the website to be true.
Plenty of time for it later. But if you know about it, please don't hesitate to point me into the right direction.

I thank you for noticing that they are there. That was observant of you.

I have found that www.religioustolerance.org is very helpful in stating the basic beliefs of most religons, and go a little more in-depth on a few religons, such as Islam. I hope it will help your understanding of Islam.
