Yea, God says a lot of crazy things. Like that whole 'not boiling a kid in its mothers' milk' deal.

I have not yet studied the Laws of Moses in depth, but, from what I can determine from research, regulations of the Laws of Moses, contained in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy, required that a baby goat (which is where we get the term kid) should not be killed for sacrifice before it was eight days old (The Third Book of Moses: Leviticus Chapter 22, Verse 27). In this part of the Bible, God was giving specific instructions on how to make offerings by fire unto Him. It is also mentioned in The Fifth Book of Moses: Deuteronomy Chapter 14, Verse 21.
"Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kit in his mother's milk."
Seethe, meaning to boil. "That is in thy gates" means the place for the transaction of public business within a city.
God was instructing his people on what to do. He was saying that his people are holy people unto the Lord and the Lord has chosen them to be a pculiar people above all the nations that are on Earth. He was telling them how they were to live and what was good to eat and what was bad. God created our bodies - he shall know and be the best source of advice on how to care for it and what to fed it. Earlier on in the 14th Cahpter of Deuteronomy he was telling them what kinds of animals to eat and how to care for the animals that he wanted his people to eat. When I was young, I was a vegetarian and my parents used these rulesto decide what was good and bad to eat because they were Rastafarian.

This life that we are living right now in this flesh - it is but a vapor. It lasts about the time of a blink of an eye as compared to the life that we shall live, in the Spirit (if you have been given Salvation through Jesus the Christ). God instructs us on what not to do and what to do. The commandments, such as not stealing or lying (The Epistle of Paul: The Apostle to the Romans Chapter 13, Verse 9), loving our neighbor (The Third Book of Moses: Leviticus Chapter 19, Verse 18; The Book of the Gospel According to Matthew Chapter 5, Verse 43, Chapter 19, Verse 19, Chapter 22, Verse 39; The Book of Mark, Chapter 12, Verse 31; The Book of Luke Chapter 10, Verse 27; The Epistle of James Chapter 2, Verse 8; The Epistle of Paul: The Apostle to the Galations Chapter 5, Verse 14). He didn't have to give us life. He didn't have to give us these bodies. These bodies that we have that are of the flesh - the works of the flesh are manifest: adultery, lasciviousness, fornication, uncleanness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings. All works of the flesh. (The Epistle of Paul: The Apostle to the Galations Chapter 5, Verses 19-21). But what Jesus Christ wants us to do is live our life free from these things. If we lived our life in the flesh, knowing that the flesh manifests these horrible things, the world that we live in in the flesh would be a terrible place (as some see that it is now). But, when we live our life in the Spirit in Christ Jesus, he makes us free from the law of sin and death (The Epistle Paul: The Apostle to the Romans, Chapter ... God gives us these values through the Bible so that we don't have to live our life in sin - the imperfection that dwells inward in men.
God sent Jesus in the likeness of man in the flesh and able to commit sins to condemn sin in the flesh. He wanted us to fulfill righteousness because that is the way of his people, being Holy. Caught up in the things of this world, which lead to the ways of the flesh, you will commit yourself to the ways of the flesh (The Epistle James Capter 4, Verse 4). But, if you are in the ways of the flesh, you cannot please God.
"Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created," -The Book of Revelations Chapter 4, Verse 11.
All things were created for God's pleasure and it is not good if we are not pleasing God.
But, if you are in the ways of the Spirit and if the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, dwells within you, you are not in the ways of the flesh. The Spirit is life because of righteousness. God raised Jesus, whos Spirit should dwell within you, from the dead after being crucified. It is by the same Spirit in you that you can Walk in the Spirit.
When you walk in the spirit, the fruit or ways of the Spirit are the righteous things: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. That's what comes from Walking in the Spirit. (The Epistle of Paul: The Apostle to the Galatians Chapter 5, Verses 22 to 23) The laws that God gives us are to curb the ways of of the flesh, but there are no laws that govern the fruit of the Spirit. Go by the fruit of the Spirit, then you are above the laws.
There is no need to rebel, then. When Christ was crucified, he crufified the ways of the flesh for us. So when we except Him into our spiritual hearts, we are giving up those ways that died so that we may live in the Spirit, as Jesus rose from the dead by it.
Grow up already. Stop being so afraid of making your own values and living in your infantile fairyland.

You don't realize how ironic that statement is.
"At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes," The Book of the Gospel According to Matthew Chapter 11, Verse 25.
Jesus reveals that those that have been revealed to the kingdom of heaven are babes. Read on within that passage of the Holy Bible in Chapter 11 and you will learn more. And in that same book, Matthew, in Chapter 18 Jesus was asked who the greatest in the kingdom of heaven was. Jesus called a child to sit before them...
"And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven," Chapter 18, Verse 3.
Then, in Verse 4, "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven."
When we humble ourselves and become the Babes that Jesus spoke of, we are likening ourselves to inherit the kingdom of heaven. We will even become great.
"Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble."
"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you," The First Epistle of Peter (might be 1 Peter in your Holy Bibles, remember this) Chapter 5, Verses 5 and 6.
So, by humbling yourself, you are becoming great. Become like a Babe. There is nothing fairy about it.

I and everyone else in the world who loves something has felt the same feeling you do when you 'experience God.' I just recognize it for what it is- a feeling, which is a validation of my values, not a validation of fact. You need to stop being such an Uncle Tom and start being a free person.
When you're filled with the Holy Spirit, it is not just a feeling. The Spirit is actually within you. I know this for a fact because I have experienced it myself. Feelings are only side effect.
In The Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Ephesians (Ephesians in your Bible, remember) it says:
Chapter 3, Verse 1, "For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power."
Here, Paul, a disciple and apostle of Jesus Christ, calls himself a "prisoner" of Jesus Christ.
His does this again in:
Chapter 4, Verse 1, "I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worth of the vocation where-with ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
Does this mean that Jesus Christ our Lord is some sort of cruel slave-master? No. If you've read this without understanding, you may have been deceived; Or deceived by another that didn't understand it and told you, who never looked it up to read and see with understanding for yourself the truth so that you could tell your deceiver the truth and let them hear with understanding.
I asked her what it meant and she told me:
Lagail Marie: But its because Jesus is in your heart
Lagail Marie: so its gets harder to sin
Lagail Marie: because is controlling your heart therefore controlling your actions
Lagail Marie: but you chose to have him in your heart in the first place
Lagail Marie: God never took away your free will
Lagail Marie: You chose to have God in your heart because you realized your heart was really evil
Lagail Marie: and you wanted your actions to be according to Gods will
Lagail Marie: So being a prisoner of the Lord
Lagail Marie: Thats actually a good thing
Lagail Marie: its not slavery
But, Paul who was an apostle and deciple of Christ was imprisoned and prosecuted for teaching what Jesus taught him. For teaching what was right and truthful. He was a prisoner of the Lord, not by the Lord.
"Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free," The Book of the Gospel According to John Chapter 8, Verses 31 to 32.
The words of God do not imprison you or trap you. God made it so that it sets you free. It is the truth. The truth, getting to know God through his words, makes you free.
"They answered him, We be Abraham's see, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
Jesus answered him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
And the servant abideth not in the house forever: but the Son abideth ever.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."
You see, it's sin that keeps you in servitude. Verily means with confidently and assuredly. This is absolutely true. Sin is the imperfection of man and the natural tendency of the flesh. If you did not have the Spirit of Christ, what is to stop you from sinning and putting yourself into servitude? Christ, who died for your sins, sets you free from sin, and, therefore, free from servitude. I have the Spirit of Christ in my heart and I am a free man through Christ.

If you did not have the Spirit of Christ, what is to stop you from sinning and putting yourself into servitude?

Your compassion
Your understanding
Your morals
Your ethics

You don't need a god to realize that hitting people hurts.

My brother, as I have said before, there is no one here on the Earth that God has created that is without sin. No one here has inherent righteousness. Only the Lord God's son, Jesus Christ, has had that inherent right.
There is no one here that is free from sin or from being a sinner.
And we have no reason to believe we are righteous enough to deserve salvation against God's intentions.
Compassion. Understanding. Having these things are good. Morals. Ethics. These are to come from God. If we try to do it alone or against God's way then they are fruitless.

You realize these feelings because you have a spirit. And God sees that spirit even though someone else or even yourself may not. Compassion. Kindness. Love. Joy. Peace. Longsuffering. Gentleness. Faith Meekness. Temperance. They are all according to the Spirit. They are its fruit. And God gave you the Spirit.

If you look carefully, there are no laws against the fruit of the Spirit. There isn't a law against love. No laws against longsuffering, peace, or temperance.
It is only sin. Sexual immorality, lasciviousness, adultery, fornication, lust. Those are what God's laws govern.

Please identify who you are so that I can know. You don't have to announce it to the public, its okay to tell me in private.
