Today there's a form of confusion going around... people say that there are too many version of the bible! Really, there's only one version, and I'll explain how:
Second Peter Chapter 1, Verse 19, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."
The most important thing to establish here is that the prophets of the Old Testament and the disciples under the New all wrote down what they wrote as the Holy Spirit dictated it to them. They were moved by the Holy Spirit, and God has always been the author.
Because God's works are always mighty... Because the Lord wrote you one love letter, but since the Lord's hand is so strong and so smart, it was in 66 books and written over the course of history... there's nothing ordinary about the scriptures.
It says in Revelations that in the end times, satan will open his mouth in blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and against the Lord's works. Throughout the whole of scripture, one of the things that satan always uses to try to confound God's anointed is confusion.
When the Holy Spirit authored God's love letter, He left His own fingerprint on it. It's like a watermark, to authenticate the Word.
The Holy Bible might be divided into King James and NIV, ASB, NKJV... and all the others... But the original scripture were written first in Hebrew in the Old Testament, and then in Greek in the New Testament, with some parts written in Aramaic, the language the Lord Jesus Christ spoke often.
There's something special about languages: if you remember, the Genesis part that speaks about the Tower of Babel, Babel means confusion. God toppled that tower, and a burnt piece of it still remains today, as a pile of green-molten bricks with ancient writing on each. But there's where the Lord scattered the languages.
Gematria Hebrew and Greek have different alphabets, but they don't have separate characters for their numbers. Instead, they use letters as their numbers. So, if you take the Greek word for Jesus' name, and you count the letters mathematically, you get 888. The Christ, the numeric value of the title is 1480, or [185 x 8]. The value of Saviour is 1408, or [88 x 2 x 8]. Lord has the value of 800, or [100 x 8]. Messiah has the numeric value of 656, or [82 x 8]. It can be done in Greek's alphabet, by ones with the first 9 characters, then by 10s at the tenth, and so in with the 100s. Greek has 27 characters in its alphabet. Hebrew has 22, but if you include the consonants that end words, the final consonants, you have a 27-character numerical number-bet, so to speak... ^_^ Jesus Christ said, "I am the truth," valuing 64, or [8x8].
Spiritual Numeric meaning 8 is the number of new beginnings, if you go through God's love letter and analyze it. For example, there were 8 aboard Noah's ark. Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives, and the flood wiped out the old to make a new beginning. If you analyze the rest of the numbers this same way, you have the spiritual meanings of all of the numbers: 5 is the number of grace (there were 5 commandments toward the neighbour, 5 toward God), 4 is the number of creative works like the earth, 6 is the number of man, 10 is the number of judgement (10 commandments), 12 is the number of governmental perfection (12 disciples judging 12 tribes of Israel), and so on, and so on... If you take these patterns that the Holy Spirit put into consideration, you see God's watermark. The Old testament circumcision was a circumcision of the heart, but it had to be done on the 8th day of the Jewish child's life. There are 8 such resurrection types that are the way Noah survived the flood that tell about Jesus Christ saving His people in the "dragnet" of the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus Christ rose on a Sunday, which is sort of like an 8th day. To explain that, you can even compare it to nature, God's creation. Musically, there are 7 notes, which we give the letters A B C D E F G. But, the all-important octave in music, where the first note repeats, is the 8th. It's a property of sound, so these octaves are on every musical instrument. At the 8th note, the sound beginnings again, new beginning. How can I scripturally document these spiritual meanings and numbers? Jesus Christ explained it in Matthew Chapter 5. Almost hidden, are the beatitudes. "Blessed is he who..." is how they start, but if you take each one, and its numerical order, you have the meaning of each number spiritually. If you look at the 5th beatitude, and consider the number 5 is the number of grace, or the 8th and see how its the new beginning, you'll understand why Christ said them in that specific order! Then, if you consider that a triplicate order of numbers, such as 777, or 888, means a total meaning, go to Revelations Chapter 13, Verse 18: "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." Or, 666. Which is the same number of the weight of gold that King solomon would receive in a year in First Kings Chapter 10, Verse 14.
Occurances in scripture The same structure also occurs in the number of occurances in the bible. Taking the number 8 again - Jesus Chrsit called Himself Son of man, which occurs 2960 times in the original scripture [370 x 8]. The Book of Revelations of Jesus Christ in the New has exactly 888 Greek words. There are literally thousands of such patterns. It's truly amazing: 7 as a number occurs 187 times in scripture [41x7]. "Seven-fold" occurs 7 times, Seventy occurs 56 times [7x8] (Daniel's 70 weeks, or Christ telling Peter to forgive '70 times 7' times).
Heptadic Structure Heptadic just means 7. Plain and simple. But in scripture, nothing is plain and simple! There were 33 people that God used to write His love letter down. 21 Old testament writers names appear in scripture [3 x 7]. 7 are named in the New Testament: Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Hosea, and Joel, and the gematraic value of their names is 1554 [222 x 7]. David's name is found 1134 times [162 x 7]. Heptadic structure is the Holy Spirit's use of the number 7 throughout scripture. The Holy Spirit loves to use this number. The holy number not only occurs in scripture to form a structure, it's all over nature! The human embryonic development is in periods of 7. 28 days, or [4x7]. The body renews its cell structure every 7 years. The heart slows every seven days in accordance with the Sabbath day, the 7th day God commanded to rest on in Exodus Chapter 20. There are 7 colors of the visible light spectrum: ROYGBIV, or red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. If you didn't understand the Lord, you'd miss the understanding of the meaning of what many scientists and people that claim wisdom and knowledge waste their lives in vanity studying, yet never understanding. 7 is the number of spiritual perfection. It's even used in Jesus Christ's first coming in the flesh, and just about everywhere else: That the geneology found in Matthew Chapter 1 in Greek.
- Number of words is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of letters is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of vowels and consonants is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words beginning with a vowel is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of wors beginning with consonant is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words occuring more than once is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words occur in more than one form is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words occur in only one form is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words number of nouns is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of words 7 words not be nouns is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of names is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of male names is divisible by 7, evenly.
- Number of generations is divisible by 7, evenly (21).
There are hundreds: if you take the beginnings of every word in the New Testament, you get a numeral heptadic number, the endings, and so on... The middle words, even... The Holy Spirit's authoring is endless.
So what are the chances of anyone sitting down and trying to do what the Holy Spirit did in scripture? - Assuming that someone worked 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/wk, 50 weeks/year - 2000 hrs/year or 120000 min/year 7^9 chances = 40,353,607 attempts Say someone had a super computer. A room full of them: 7^34 chances. 5.4x10^28 Tries would be needed 3.15x10^7 sec in a year. 400 million tries per second. At 4 x 10^8 tries/sec, it would take 4.3x10^12 computer-years. 1,000,000 supercomputers, working at 4,300,000 years
4 million years for just 34 of these structures that the Holy Spirit wrote in the Word of God. Within us and working throughout possesses the Lord's Spirit which surpasses any modern form of technology! Many of the epistles in the New Testament were written in a few minutes. The verse in Second Peters is true, and no man could have done this alone. And if you statistically analyze the scripture, there's no way any of it could have been done by "coincidence," or just some guy. Besides, the 12 disciples that the Father chose to follow Jesus Christ were unlearned fishermen, and God chose His prophets that were uneducated. No man's mind could conceive what the Holy Spirit did in a matter of minutes! I am confident and trust in God... And this is only one reason why!
