No. And here's why. The only law that is mentioned in scripture regarding blood is not to eat chickens that have been choked. The law said that the meat must be bled first, so that no one under the law eats meat with the blood in it. Back in those days, there was no refrigeration, and so they had to purify their meat in the best way they could. God wanted them to live long, and the law is a Schoolmaster. Scripture says in the Book of Genesis Chapter 9, Verse 4, says, "But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof shall ye not eat." If you read the beginning of that chapter, God is allowing man to eat meat, when he was supposed to eat only of the fruit of trees and God put "the fear" of man over the animals, fear meaning putting the animals into subjection under man, just as "the fear of the Lord" means to be subject to the Lord. But there it says that every moving animals, man can eat, as well as the herbs, but living animals aren't to be eaten. Which means, animals with life already in them shouldn't be consumed.

It's not good to hate the people of God. What they themselves say doesn't measure up to what God Himself says. If you followed Christ, Christ would tell you.
Just like the Pharisees and Sadduccees and their earthly interpretations of the law, they didn't see past the flesh to see the spiritual meaning that the Holy Spirit authored in scripture.
But are you to hate them for it? God loves those that follow the Son. If you hated them, the truth wouldn't be found in you, and you yourself would be a liar.
Personally, I abstain from all meat, except fish. Jesus ate fish you know, and so do I. My favorite being the mighty salmon, a beautiful fish that lives in the ocean and streams. That's what is interesting about the mighty salmon is that it is a fresh and salt water fish, and no other food tastes so divine.
Anyway, I like your blog, I liked your post on trick or treating, and I mostly agree with it. However, I don't trick or treat, as I consider myself too "old". I am older than most people my age though, you could say.
