CharnonIsaac: And she wanted us to go and see it for some reason. CharnonIsaac: So then we were all driving up there. CharnonIsaac: Then all of a sudden my mum pushes me out and they drive off. CharnonIsaac: So I have to go in there and watch her! CharnonIsaac: I was expecting it to be some play in front of the Church congregation. CharnonIsaac: But there were no parents. CharnonIsaac: There was no congregation. yourstruly826: what was it? lol CharnonIsaac: Just the kids. CharnonIsaac: Putting on a play for the other kids. yourstruly826: aww..thats so cute yourstruly826: haha CharnonIsaac: It isn't!!! :o CharnonIsaac: It's terrible. CharnonIsaac: And awful. :-( CharnonIsaac: So they divided us all up and everything. CharnonIsaac: Gave us these silly army hats. CharnonIsaac: And armbands. CharnonIsaac: And dogtags. CharnonIsaac: Then I had to follow the kids around. CharnonIsaac: And do arts and crafts. :-( CharnonIsaac: Then I had to go in there. CharnonIsaac: And watch the play. CharnonIsaac: Which wasn't that bad. CharnonIsaac: And I saw my sister act for the first time. CharnonIsaac: But then they like pushed us into another room. CharnonIsaac: Sat us down. yourstruly826: hahaha...thats great. i wish i had been there to laugh at u.lolol CharnonIsaac: And I tried to get away to talk to this group of guys but they said "He's escaping. =-OGet him :o" CharnonIsaac: So. CharnonIsaac: They've forced me into some sort of labor camp. CharnonIsaac: Where you make arts and crafts. CharnonIsaac: They're torturing me. yourstruly826: sounds like u had loads of funnnn yourstruly826: hahahao CharnonIsaac: They look at me like I'm a criminal. CharnonIsaac: And they're wearing army hats. CharnonIsaac: What the hell is with this country?! CharnonIsaac: Is Church like this every week?? yourstruly826: i guess so. showin our patriotism yourstruly826: lol CharnonIsaac: They ate hot dogs and pork and beans. Do you know how bad that is for a Church to eat those sorts of things? CharnonIsaac: It has pork in it, for goodness' sake.. CharnonIsaac: It explicitly states in the Bible. CharnonIsaac: No goshdamn pork. CharnonIsaac: These people are animals. CharnonIsaac: Then I refused to participate in their march and their song and dance. They were making up some sort of brainwashing lyrics. yourstruly826: i like pork, though:- CharnonIsaac: It was horrible. yourstruly826: lol CharnonIsaac: When I was in line with my siste.r CharnonIsaac: The pastor. CharnonIsaac: He grabbed my arm. CharnonIsaac: Then I thought that was kind of weird. CharnonIsaac: But he was feeling the muscle. CharnonIsaac: So I just said "hey" and he walked away. CharnonIsaac: Didn't even look me in the eyes or anything. yourstruly826: whoa, freaky pastor yourstruly826: lol CharnonIsaac: He waited until the two other ladies were there to shake my hand in front of them. Even then, he was squeezing my hand to test my strength. I can tell the difference between a moderate hand-shake and a hand-shake that two men give each other to test each others manhood. CharnonIsaac: But this was just weird. CharnonIsaac: And I noticed that the large black cross that was hung on the wall was slanted. CharnonIsaac: Like an X. CharnonIsaac: When you slant the cross or display it incorrectly, it's usually a sacreligious sign. CharnonIsaac: A sign of unrighteousness. CharnonIsaac: Which lead me to believe that these people are corrupt. CharnonIsaac: I could sense this all along. yourstruly826: uh oh..this church sounds a little weird yourstruly826: lol CharnonIsaac: Then. CharnonIsaac: Yes. CharnonIsaac: Very weird. CharnonIsaac: But. CharnonIsaac: When they were giving the prayer. CharnonIsaac: They all bowed their heads. CharnonIsaac: And this is with all of the children who are like 2 and 3 and everything. CharnonIsaac: And they said the prayer "" CharnonIsaac: But. CharnonIsaac: On the end of it. CharnonIsaac: The pastor said... CharnonIsaac: "Please help those that aren't.........something....participating. Maybe they had a bad day or something in their lives. Please ...........something.........grumpy......." CharnonIsaac: Something like that. CharnonIsaac: But he was talking about me because I was the one that wouldn't participate. CharnonIsaac: How would any of this take me closer to God?! CharnonIsaac: And I stand firmly on that. CharnonIsaac: That was one corrupt Church. CharnonIsaac: So the way I figure it. yourstruly826: yeah, sure is yourstruly826: lol yourstruly826: hey, i'm off to bed isaac yourstruly826: lol CharnonIsaac: Oh okay. CharnonIsaac: Well. And the moral to this story is... I'm a deeply spiritual person with an indestructable, impermeable faith and an open mind. While everyone was dancing around and singing songs, I was sitting down and reading a passage in the Bible. Matthew 2-4, as I recall. From what I could figure, a good pastor would have sat down and asked me why I wasn't participating instead of attempting to embarrassment in front of everyone in prayer. I want to go to Church. But I want to go to a [i]good[/i] Church. Until I find a good one, I'll continue to worship God in my own way. Thank you. *takes a bow*
