Brightest Faith: What Is The Church?

Church has been spoken of as if it robbed people of their money. But you speak of the church amiss, not clearly knowing what it is. Church is the body of Christ - those that were saved and washed clean of this world by the blood of God's Lamb.

Church can be in any place, because the temple through which Church is held is the body of those that belong to God in Christ's name. Christ heads Church (The Epistle to the Ephesians Chapter 1, Verse 22), and the Church belongs to God (The First Epistle of Timothy Chapter 3, Verse 15).

Those that belong to God are pillars for the truth, having the Holy Spirit within them, and being themselves God's temple. So as the Father was inside of Christ as His Spirit, and the Son inside of the Father, those that are God's have Christ inside of them, and they are inside of Christ. We are inside of Christ, because Church is the body of Christ. The body has many members, meaning there are different parts and different functionalities for them. The Spirit gives different gives: some the gift of preaching, some the gift of faith, some the gift of the tongue, some evangelists, some teachers... As the body of Christ, we are equal in importance, as no one part of the body can function on its own. We are members of His body, His flesh, and of His bones (The Epistle to the Ephesians Chapter 5, Verse 30). If those three words sound familiar, then think of when Jesus Christ took communion with His disciples and how bread was broken as His body, and the wine as His blood, and how the 12 disciples represented the 12 tribes of Judah, which all of man is divided into, knowingly or not. So the preacher or teacher in the church is no larger or important than the woman that walks into the congregation and lifts everyone's spirits with just a smile (The Gospel According to Matthew Chapter 23, Verse 10).

They all have one Master. One Teacher, and this is Christ. The Church are subject to Christ (The Epistle to the Ephesians Chapter 5, Verse 24), because they follow the Word, which is Christ, and all that the head of the Church taught. The Church is unified into one by the Holy Spirit, not by some building made of wood and sticks and bricks.

The Church is in Jesus Christ's name, and can't be named under one association, because those that belong to Christ are diverse. The reason why I quote the Word is so that no one here will be deceived. Here I see that many speak of themselves: of their own opinions and what they think. But I speak from God, the Truth, so that the one who reads over the words, seeking to knock on the Master's door and have supper with the Master, will know where the door is, and how to knock. Christ asked that we have Church, not church. I say this not to confuse, but when I capitalize the C, I put emphasis on its holiness, as the body of Christ and all of its members which are made clean by Christ, not as the meeting place of the people that come to worship. Christ is among two or more that gather in Christ's name (The Gospel According to Matthew Chapter 18, Verse 19).

When I quote, I sew a seed. The one that gives seed to the sower is the head of the Church, Christ. I feed with knowledge and understanding, which was given to me (The Book of Jeremiah Chapter 3, Verse 15). I do it all through the Truth so that no one is deceived by opinion, or falseness, there being only one Truth. The church tithe seems to bother a lot of people I meet and have Church with. But I tell you out of the Truth. And not 'popular belief,' as it was put it earlier. Christ is the King of Salem, Melchizedek, appointed by God the position of the sole priest over man. Christ says there is but one teacher, and one Rabbi. In Genesis Chapter 14, Verse 20, the tithe was mentioned as given by the man appointed the position at the time. It was first mentioned here. "And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all." And I tell you, Christ spoke plainly to His disciples after His resurrection, and told them of all of these things, and they're written about later on in Hebrews Chapter 7. And if it bothers you to read the whole chapter, then just read Verses 1-10. And this explains the verse in Genesis. When someone tithes, they don't give money to God, God has no need for earthly things and has said that the things of this world will pass away. God made all that's on earth. He has no need for your money, but for your love. But the tithe is for the church. Christ said (1) to love God with all that you are: in body, spirit, soul, and mind, and then (2) to love those around you as you love yourself, seeing that those that are united by the Holy Spirit of God are siblings, and that you can they were created so that they have characteristics of God within them, and that they were created in the image of God and the angels. The tithe is to honor the second of what the Son of God said, so that the love of God is in you. The tithe isn't a commandment, and all laws are fulfilled having Christ, but something one does out of faith, loving the Lord and so keeping His commandments. But why not go through and read the 7th chapter of the Epistle to the Hebrews? If you really want to know why the tithe is there, and it's purpose, and what God promises to those that love Him, and God always keeping His promises? I come to this board seeing questions, and provide answers. I sew the seeds in the name of the One that provided them, answering questions. Putting truth to what might be false or deceive people. No one here asked me to do it, but I do it in service to the Lord, and His Church.

If there is something that you don't know, it's because you haven't asked. Wouldn't reading the Word giving you knowledge of the answer, seeing as how God is liberal with knowledge (The Epistle of James Chapter 4)? I ask so that I can give answers to the Church.

If there's anything that anyone of you don't understand, or if you question what I've said, tell me, and I'll back my words with truth.
