Hello Again,
This is Isaac D. Just a little note to show you an important video I'd stumbled upon (really good video). It compares the preaches of Todd Bentley, a preacher out of a dangerous movement, and Paul Washer, often called one of the greatest preachers of the Gospel you can hear alive today. This is preaching as opposed to teaching - they're both preaching the Gospel, so its an even playing-field to see the difference between sound preaching and preaching influenced by a wind-of-doctrine. Bentley says some true things, but that's because they're based off of scripture-verses. But, listen to the essence of what he's preaching. What's scary is that he looks and sounds like and quotes scripture and gets 'passionate' just like a real preacher, but behind that disguise, there's something seriously wrong with the message that he preaches. Again, let's not have personal against Bentley as a person - let's just not call his preaching Gospel and know that there's a difference between his brand of preaching and sound preaching... And he preaches doctrine out of a false movement. We can only judge his words and his words are enough to say he's missed the mark. If the message isn't Christ-centered and God-honoring, then what is it? If it isn't really the Gospel, then what is it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5R5qC4CTAE" title="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5R5qC4CTAE" target="_blank"http://www.youtube.com/watch?... With Love, Isaac D. Yours in Christ.
