I was talking with someone about singleness earlier on today, and as they went through it, they nailed and hit all of the scriptures on the biblical teaching of single adulthood, and how to perceive those of the other gender and the benefits and the value and the reason why God allows for a time of singleness, whether they realized it or not. I was just thinking (before I get in the Word and hit the hay, because it's 4:19 in the morning :-Z), 1 Tim. 5:2 commands me to treat all younger women as sisters given all purity. Really, the value of that is immense because Jesus said when He was teaching in Luke 16:12 passage, "And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's, who shall give you that which is your own?" The women in my fellowship that God's entrusted me with fellowshipping with - most of them will eventually be wives. Right now, I'm fellowshipping with women that will eventually be married to other men. I mustn't single one of them out and look at her as my 'potential wife candidate' because I need to be faithful over what is another man's. God will give me what is my own if I remain faithful to think of these women strictly as my sisters in Christ, because the one giving me my own wife someday is that one who knows my heart. I want to, from the heart, truly follow His commands. That's all for tonight! Peace.
