Here's a poem I wrote which I read from time to time when things get a little tough. I hope it encourages all of you.
People think we're crazy and yes it may be true, We're crazy for Christ and do what Jesus would do
While others sit in pews we take it to the people We’re not content to stay inside and hide under the steeple
People think we're strange because we witness on the streets, Yet due to our obedience we see amazing feats.
We pass out tracts to everyone each and everyday We continue sowing seeds no matter what they say
We persistently plow and preach His word even when things seem slow For we keep our faith and hope for the harvest with every seed we sow
We get a lot of criticism most Christians don't understand Why we sow seeds of the gospel and take such a bold stand
We continue to sow every day even though we never know If the seed we scattered today, tomorrow will germinate and grow
People spit at us, say nasty things as they turn to us and yell They’re offended at the truth we preach and story that we tell
No matter what they say to us and no matter what they do We persevere for it’s the Father will and to His Son we’re true
So, yes we may be crazy for we do the Master’s will We’re grateful for His grace and so we serve Him still

Hi there, Like the poem and what it says, it is true people who are comfortable don't want to change. Until God comes on the scene and causes change. To get some of us who are not moving, moving with the Holy Spirit, sometimes it does take a shock to get us out of our comfort zone and into the things of God.
