posted by: TrinaBinaBear (reply) post date: 06.24.05 (7:46 am) I was thinking about this this morning! There is so muh proof to support that Jesus is God, himself. John 1:1- "In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" ...and John 1:4- "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." Which takes us to John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." which is saying that Jesus is the life in John 1:4 That takes us to John 1:10 - "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." Then we go to... Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." So, if the beginning is the beginning then Jesus, the Word, was there in the beginning as God. The problem with people is that they do not read the Bible, so they go along with what people have told them. The name for God used in Genesis was Elohim. It's a plural word, like cherubim is the plural of one 'cherub,' singular, BUT it is used improperly in the Hebrew as singular. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, as one. It's why most angel names end in 'el,' for Elohim. Also, Jesus Christ, His teachings, His life, and His sacrifice are mentioned in every book of the bible. From Genesis, "Seed of the Woman and tree of life and Isaac," to Job the oldest book, "Voice of the whirlwind." Every aspect of the Father's letter and intentions point to Jesus Christ. |
