The Lord is my Shepherd. The Shepherd takes care of the sheep!
Tonight I took my sister to the emergency room because she was having trouble breathing all day, with a constant asthma attack (she doesn't have asthma), and pains from having to draw breath inwardly for hours. We were there for 3 1/2 hours, which is short consider it could be a lot worse.
We came out to discover a police officer waiting for us, because a group of youngsters (I chuckle at being able to say this word) tried to steal my car. The Acura Integra is the most stolen car in America, but this time the kids tried it on 5-7 other cars aswell. The cop had us wait for the forensics team to come and fingerprint, but I told him that I wouldn't prosecute (not because I want to be nice, I want to get caught, for justice to be served). I did that because the Lord's taught me over a period of months not to trust in the world. Appearances and beauty is in vain, and charm and the seduction of things are a great deception, as He's taught me. It's in Proverbs. And I don't trust in worldly things, I need to use that car for one purpose, but I'm sooo thankful to the Lord that it wasn't stolen. It would have meant many months of hard work and suffering if it was stolen. He provided it, and He made sure that no one took it.
And I'm so thankful that He's helping me with my studies. Right now I'm going to study for my chemistry test that I take tomorrow at 5. I thank the Lord that He's been preparing me, and for helping me so much to keep up with a heavy supply of work and school (even though I haven't had much time for study). I go now to complete a night of study.
I'm so thankful that my sister didn't die. I love her a lot, like a father loves a daughter (the Lord's doing), and I'd hate to see anything happen to her.
Please pray for me, I'm trying to leave Wal-Mart. Thank you. In Christ, Isaac D.
I was in Paltalk listening to people debate about views of scripture. Now, this isn't my view, you can find this all over scripture and this is what they came to realize after we talked: The interpretation comes from God's Holy Spirit. There are no opinions with God, nor are there any theories. He doesn't say, I am the voice of the burning bush, and leave that open for you to interpret how you see it. The understanding is applied by His Spirit.
No, my interpretations are worth nothing, the scriptures say, The natural man receives not the things of God, neither can he know them because they're spiritually discerned. If I reasoned something on my own, I do so out of my own carnal mind, and I lean on my own understanding. The Lord hates this, and it's one of the reasons why those He saves has the Holy Spirit abiding within them: because they speak from His translation, His understanding, and not from their own. Christ is my teacher, and captain of my salvation, if I followed my own path, it would lead to death. And you can document what I just said in more than one place in scripture.
Until then, my dear, all I can do for you is pray. Pray that someday you come to God for something nicer to say. Cherry memories of apple blossoms and sakoya leaves abound. Surely, one day, through God's grace, you'll come around. I look forward to the day when He touches your life. All of your pain. Your suffering and strife. All aged away in ash. Turned to happiness. To joy. To meaning of longsuffering. No more wandering. No more darkness. No suffering under satan's lash. May that day be merry, when you are filled with His Spirit. Only then will it have meaning. Only then will you have feeling. Only then will it have merit. So heed, my friend, to begin your healing. Let the word of God be a seed onto you duelly planted in water. Some day you'll be teaching these words to your son and daughter. In that day, my friend, you need not remember me. But remember Him. He that you cannot see. He will surely be with thee if thy light were to dim. I know I'll meet you there someday. It is certain and for it I shall pray. Then, surely, on that day it will be you who is searching for something to say. As surely as He loves you and me, He'll fix your broken philosophy. ~9:56 PM 12/18/2003
Sleepers Awake Why do you all lie there as if you can't see your shame? Cast off the right and put on the works of the day. Can't you see your life and all its ways are sore in vain? Time you see yourself in His light, all your ways profane His name.
Sleeps Awake! I promise you'll not be the same! See the Son of Man rise again! Why trade treasure for the mundane? Time to pick up the faith.
Sleepers Awake! Time that your soulds be transformed and saved. The time is now and not some future date! Pick up the cross now, it's not too late.
Sleeper's Awake! See the world's fallow faults, short-falls, and save. Put them down, get up, it's time to: Awaken to the parallel, behind the veil. That's hid you from the
