Glorious. Beautiful morning, and I went to take my exam, and I nearly cried because it was so intricate and complicated: Chemistry Lab. Had to do a titration and I screwed it up and another girl and I were the last to finish.
What was so amazing was at the end! I hadn't shipped off the packages that people paid for yet and it was going to be a weak late because I lost my wallet and had to cancel my PayPal card to protect it. Then I prayed and God found a way for it to reach right hands where it was turned in and no money taken out of it (thanks, Tyler), and I have it back now. So I got my mum's card and I had to jet out to the post office to get the business done before the sun set. And it looked impossible. It was already getting dark. And so I just prayed... Father, please help me not to violate your commandment and get this done. And wouldn't you know it... The sky stood still. Half the sky was dark, a deep navy blue, and the other side was like it was early morning, and it stayed that way for a half an hour. The car started behaving like it had nitro in it. The car God provided has low torque and takes a long time to get out of 1st gear. Father helped me not to violate His commandment. I trusted in Him. Then, on the way back home, I took the long way down 34th avenue instead of going down 22nd. And all the way home... I drove behind someone in a red van that had two bumper stickers only: "The Seventh day is the Sabbath day" and "For God never changed it." Un-be-lievable. The Lord did it. :-) I was happy. I truly trusted in Him, and He did it. And it's like Christ said, "You will see greater things than these." Jesus has something spectacular in store for us. I want to see it, if the Father can do all of this! He loves me. ^_^
I'm Isaac D. and I'm giving guitar lessons. I go to USF, so you can find me there. Sort of, anyway. My contact information: Isaac D. - biznitzcom@yahoo.com - CharnonIsaac, on AIM Look for my facebook entry.
I'm offering beginner's guitar, and I can also show you: fingerpicking, sweep picking, eco-picking, reading music to an extent, reading tab, jamming with just about anyone, and so on. I don't do it for the money, but I charge $8 per lesson because of gas (I live outside of Tampa). Lessons are an hour and a half long, or until we call it quits. Feel free to chat with me any time.
I'm putting this here so Google will index it because there are a lot of people that search for "Florida Guitar Lessons" from the USF computer labs.
Some keywords include... Florida guitar lessons, USF music lessons, beginners guitar, cheap guitar lessons, and so on.
Proverbs Chapter 9 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding, for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold. She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
I'm going through some pretty rought and stressful times with work and the long hours being late...the stresses put on me at school...some frustrations with bills...hard times with this eBay business... And not having a church to come home to at the end of the week. :-/ As if I ever did...but... you get the idea. ^_^ But I understand why suffering these things is necessary, and the Lord only uses this suffering to raise me, to make me stronger. It says in one of the epistles that 'the sufferings of the present time aren't worthy to be compared to the glory that will be revealed in us.' That's... Romans Chapter 8, Verse 18. My ears are still ringing from jamming with Luke and friends. I don't like it so loud... I'm embracing the Lord's discipline. I sorely need it. How many times have I sat down to do homework or to read a book yet have done a thousand other odd things, and not what I sat down to do? Satan tries to tempt me, but God's made my shield of faith too strong for him, and now the Lord's focusing on preparing me for something...disciplining me. Purging the bad out of me, and turning me from the world's ways. Which lead to death.
I'm so much a rebel... not against the Lord now, but the world. I was once of the world, now I'm no longer from it, born of Christ, and all of my ways conflict with it. Yet no one can accuse me, salvation over my head. Stranger wherever I go. Strange ways. Hard to find someone that understands. That has Christ. Brothers and sisters. When I do, I hold onto them. They're special.
I don't really write in these things for anyone to read. So I can say just about anything. I passed gas in the car on the way home with my sister in it. So did she. The papaya in the kitchen smells like poo. These journal entries serve as an archive. So I like to make them long. Now I'm off to study Astronomy for my 4 exams this week. I wont sigh at the Lord's discipline, though. I will do it this time.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit--fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other. 'If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.
Welp. I just came home from work. So, I went to get some gas for tomorrow's trip to school. Along the way, I was turning this curve that leads to 4th street when I saw this big bird, then two more big birds sort of appeared after nowhere, identically.
So I got to the gas station. I went to pump 11, and I was about to get out when this angry, big, black, bald cop says "Sit back down," and he had his hand on his gun. I was maybe...5 feet away? So then another cop car appeared. The guy was petrified. I would have been. He told the other guy to get back in the car. Then he arrested him. I didn't give it any thought, went in, and paid for my gas, joking with the man, "That must be bad for business."
So when I got out, there were 6 cop cars! Then a seventh on its way when I pulled out, the 8th giving me a dirty look to make sure I'm not guilty or something.
So one of the things Father's been telling me is that my sins are something that the world could accuse me on. He recently told me to put on the full armour of God, which inclUDES the breastplate of righteousness. It's to fend off the enemy's fatal spear. Satan's called the accuser in heaven, and his children here on earth take after him in that. I take after my Father who is in heaven, and do good. If I don't follow the world's ways and my own lusts, how can anyone accuse me? I'm not righteous. Or above anyone. But Christ's promised that those that follow Him will be called the righteousness of God. So I will be one day. Not today, because I'm still in a flesh body. But those that are in Christ are rather justified, being forgiven for these things. It's why He asks us to follow the laws of the land. So that no one can accuse us. Is it a sin to break the laws of the land? No. God our Father is the highest authority. No law is above His laws. One day it was legal to kill Jews, and legal to enslave and beat other people. Who knows what tomorrow's laws will be, but with Christ, none of them have power over those He saves...
I told the story to my mum and she thought the cop was yelling at me and I asked her, what could I have done? She said they could stop me for anything. Which is true. And they will one day. It's in Revelations. Persecute followers of Christ. I hope I'm not adulterating against Christ in those days. I can't stand sin, but I'm still in a flesh body, and can still be tempted. Stupid satan. But he doesn't seem to realize Christ gave me power over him.
Yes! Today I was riding my sister to Wal-Mart to buy desperately needed shoes that I hadn't bought for months, when I noticed that the S3 light on the car was blinking. I parked it, and acted like nothing was the matter, and thinking back... it brought back old memories of the car being down for days, and shelling out hundreds of dollars getting it fixed. It meant that the transmission needed to be looked at, and that I'd need to miss the next day's worth of school in order to get it checked out, which meant failing to make that Comp II presentation, missing another crucial chemistry class and missing a possible pre-calc/trig quiz. I felt bad at those possibilities, and that I might need to wait weeks before I could save up enough money to get it fixed. Or worse...having to buy a new transmission, which would total more than the car. But I smiled and behaved the same way with my sister. The spirit of who God made me to be... But I was asking the Lord...please...please make this green light go away and take these worries away. I had one scripture in mind: in the book of Psalms, I remembered it saying, "I do not fear evil tidings, my faith is fixed, for I trust in God."
Surely enough, I cranked up the car and that light was gone. Thank the Lord! Even if it came back, I know Him, and He'll give me sufficient strength to overcome those worries again. I trust in God.
Today there's a form of confusion going around... people say that there are too many version of the bible! Really, there's only one version, and I'll explain how:
Second Peter Chapter 1, Verse 19, "We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:" "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."
The most important thing to establish here is that the prophets of the Old Testament and the disciples under the New all wrote down what they wrote as the Holy Spirit dictated it to them. They were moved by the Holy Spirit, and God has always been the author.
Because God's works are always mighty... Because the Lord wrote you one love letter, but since the Lord's hand is so strong and so smart, it was in 66 books and written over the course of history... there's nothing ordinary about the scriptures.
It says in Revelations that in the end times, satan will open his mouth in blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and against the Lord's works. Throughout the whole of scripture, one of the things that satan always uses to try to confound God's anointed is confusion.
When the Holy Spirit authored God's love letter, He left His own fingerprint on it. It's like a watermark, to authenticate the Word.
The Holy Bible might be divided into King James and NIV, ASB, NKJV... and all the others... But the original scripture were written first in Hebrew in the Old Testament, and then in Greek in the New Testament, with some parts written in Aramaic, the language the Lord Jesus Christ spoke often.
There's something special about languages: if you remember, the Genesis part that speaks about the Tower of Babel, Babel means confusion. God toppled that tower, and a burnt piece of it still remains today, as a pile of green-molten bricks with ancient writing on each. But there's where the Lord scattered the languages.
Gematria Hebrew and Greek have different alphabets, but they don't have separate characters for their numbers. Instead, they use letters as their numbers. So, if you take the Greek word for Jesus' name, and you count the letters mathematically, you get 888. The Christ, the numeric value of the title is 1480, or [185 x 8]. The value of Saviour is 1408, or [88 x 2 x 8]. Lord has the value of 800, or [100 x 8]. Messiah has the numeric value of 656, or [82 x 8]. It can be done in Greek's alphabet, by ones with the first 9 characters, then by 10s at the tenth, and so in with the 100s. Greek has 27 characters in its alphabet. Hebrew has 22, but if you include the consonants that end words, the final consonants, you have a 27-character numerical number-bet, so to speak... ^_^ Jesus Christ said, "I am the truth," valuing 64, or [8x8].
Spiritual Numeric meaning 8 is the number of new beginnings, if you go through God's love letter and analyze it. For example, there were 8 aboard Noah's ark. Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives, and the flood wiped out the old to make a new beginning. If you analyze the rest of the numbers this same way, you have the spiritual meanings of all of the numbers: 5 is the number of grace (there were 5 commandments toward the neighbour, 5 toward God), 4 is the number of creative works like the earth, 6 is the number of man, 10 is the number of judgement (10 commandments), 12 is the number of governmental perfection (12 disciples judging 12 tribes of Israel), and so on, and so on... If you take these patterns that the Holy Spirit put into consideration, you see God's watermark. The Old testament circumcision was a circumcision of the heart, but it had to be done on the 8th day of the Jewish child's life. There are 8 such resurrection types that are the way Noah survived the flood that tell about Jesus Christ saving His people in the "dragnet" of the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus Christ rose on a Sunday, which is sort of like an 8th day. To explain that, you can even compare it to nature, God's creation. Musically, there are 7 notes, which we give the letters A B C D E F G. But, the all-important octave in music, where the first note repeats, is the 8th. It's a property of sound, so these octaves are on every musical instrument. At the 8th note, the sound beginnings again, new beginning. How can I scripturally document these spiritual meanings and numbers? Jesus Christ explained it in Matthew Chapter 5. Almost hidden, are the beatitudes. "Blessed is he who..." is how they start, but if you take each one, and its numerical order, you have the meaning of each number spiritually. If you look at the 5th beatitude, and consider the number 5 is the number of grace, or the 8th and see how its the new beginning, you'll understand why Christ said them in that specific order! Then, if you consider that a triplicate order of numbers, such as 777, or 888, means a total meaning, go to Revelations Chapter 13, Verse 18: "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six." Or, 666. Which is the same number of the weight of gold that King solomon would receive in a year in First Kings Chapter 10, Verse 14.
Occurances in scripture The same structure also occurs in the number of occurances in the bible. Taking the number 8 again - Jesus Chrsit called Himself Son of man, which occurs 2960 times in the original scripture [370 x 8]. The Book of Revelations of Jesus Christ in the New has exactly 888 Greek words. There are literally thousands of such patterns. It's truly amazing: 7 as a number occurs 187 times in scripture [41x7]. "Seven-fold" occurs 7 times, Seventy occurs 56 times [7x8] (Daniel's 70 weeks, or Christ telling Peter to forgive '70 times 7' times).
Heptadic Structure Heptadic just means 7. Plain and simple. But in scripture, nothing is plain and simple! There were 33 people that God used to write His love letter down. 21 Old testament writers names appear in scripture [3 x 7]. 7 are named in the New Testament: Moses, David, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel, Hosea, and Joel, and the gematraic value of their names is 1554 [222 x 7]. David's name is found 1134 times [162 x 7]. Heptadic structure is the Holy Spirit's use of the number 7 throughout scripture. The Holy Spirit loves to use this number. The holy number not only occurs in scripture to form a structure, it's all over nature! The human embryonic development is in periods of 7. 28 days, or [4x7]. The body renews its cell structure every 7 years. The heart slows every seven days in accordance with the Sabbath day, the 7th day God commanded to rest on in Exodus Chapter 20. There are 7 colors of the visible light spectrum: ROYGBIV, or red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet. If you didn't understand the Lord, you'd miss the understanding of the meaning of what many scientists and people that claim wisdom and knowledge waste their lives in vanity studying, yet never understanding. 7 is the number of spiritual perfection. It's even used in Jesus Christ's first coming in the flesh, and just about everywhere else: That the geneology found in Matthew Chapter 1 in Greek.
Number of words is divisible by 7, evenly.

There are hundreds: if you take the beginnings of every word in the New Testament, you get a numeral heptadic number, the endings, and so on... The middle words, even... The Holy Spirit's authoring is endless.
So what are the chances of anyone sitting down and trying to do what the Holy Spirit did in scripture? - Assuming that someone worked 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/wk, 50 weeks/year - 2000 hrs/year or 120000 min/year 7^9 chances = 40,353,607 attempts Say someone had a super computer. A room full of them: 7^34 chances. 5.4x10^28 Tries would be needed 3.15x10^7 sec in a year. 400 million tries per second. At 4 x 10^8 tries/sec, it would take 4.3x10^12 computer-years. 1,000,000 supercomputers, working at 4,300,000 years
4 million years for just 34 of these structures that the Holy Spirit wrote in the Word of God. Within us and working throughout possesses the Lord's Spirit which surpasses any modern form of technology! Many of the epistles in the New Testament were written in a few minutes. The verse in Second Peters is true, and no man could have done this alone. And if you statistically analyze the scripture, there's no way any of it could have been done by "coincidence," or just some guy. Besides, the 12 disciples that the Father chose to follow Jesus Christ were unlearned fishermen, and God chose His prophets that were uneducated. No man's mind could conceive what the Holy Spirit did in a matter of minutes! I am confident and trust in God... And this is only one reason why!
1 John 3:16-18 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
God wrote this by the Holy Spirit under the hand of one of His disciples.
