Weekly Bible Study - Week 18
04.29.04 (5:27 pm)   [edit]
My siblings in Christ, when He sees you reading the Word that He wrote to each of us personally, He is very pleased. He sees you gaining understanding, and He sees the good works you do in private. Never worry about rewards - know that your heavenly Father sees you do all things, and know that what good you do will be rewarded by Him; Know that since you have Christ, what good you do is not done in vain. So continue gaining the understanding that comes by knowing the Word. Continue to share with your friends who Jesus Christ is, God's knowledge, and to offer your love. For God sees these, as they are pleasing to Him, and if you please the Father, He will surely bring you to pleasure.
In the last study, we started the book of Numbers, the fourth book of the laws of Moses. After Numbers, the fifth book of the laws of Moses, Deuteronomy.

Week: 18

This week's Proverb:
"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." The Book of Proverbs Chapter 25, Verse 2.
"Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men:" Verse 6.
"For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen." Verse 7.

If this is your first time trying this weekly bible study, there is no need to start all the way from the beginning; you can start on today's day and go forward from that day and when the study is completed, go to the beginning to the point where it began and go forward to where you first started!
If the Spirit is driving you to know, you can do them all in one day, if you like.
If you would like to know, but decide to go slowly, you can do the ones marked as 1 the first week and the ones marked 2 the second.

Just remember: Read God's Word as you are moved by the Spirit. Read God's words with Understanding!

Weekly Bible Study - Week 17
04.29.04 (5:27 pm)   [edit]
Friends in Christ, do not allow the tribulations and worries of this world defeat you in spirit: for if you're of Christ, you are no longer of this world, but of God's kingdom, which is above the world. So remain in high places: seeketh God's knowledge, abiding within His laws, keeping His commandment, and doing good works onto His name. Know that the many problems and difficulties build patience, and that the Lord sees you.

Weekly Bible Study - Week 16
04.29.04 (5:26 pm)   [edit]
In this week's study, the Gospel According to John was started. This is a most intimate book, different from the other 3 books detailing the Gospel. Read John carefully. Even at its very beginning, John reveals much to the one that seeks the Word.
To you who bear the sword of the Spirit: reading the Word with understanding is like eating - satisfying a need that comes from the spirit, but leaving you with satisfaction that fills your soul. God bless you, who take in this study as a meal-plan to God's Word. As knocking is a sign of the coming resurrection, keep knocking on the Master's door, for it's you who find Christ early and come in and sup with Him who are saved from sin, which is death.

Week: 16
Saturday - [1] The Book of the prophet Ezekiel Chapters 43 to 48. [2] The Gospel According to John Chapters 1 & 2.
Sunday - [1] The Book of Daniel Chapters 1 to 6. [2] The Gospel According to John Chapters 3 & 4.
Monday - [1] The Book of Psalms Chapters 90 to 92. [2] The Book of Proverbs Chapters 14 & 15.
Tuesday - [1] The Book of Proverbs Chapter 16. [2] The Second Book of the Kings Chapters 21 to 25.
Wednesday - [1] The First Book of the Chronicles Chapters 1 to 4. [2] The Book of Leviticus Chapters 22 to 24.
Thursday - [1] The Book of Leviticus Chapters 25 to 27. [2] The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians Chapters 4 & 5.
Friday - [1] The Second Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Thessalonians. [2] The Book of Psalms Chapters 93 to 95.

This week's Proverb:
"Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father: but he that keepeth company with harlots spendeth his substance." The Book of Proverbs Chapter 29, Verse 3.
"He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy."
The Book of Proverbs Chapter 28, Verse 6.

I live to see another day...
04.23.04 (4:32 am)   [edit]
I wake up and I am no longer tired. I see that I have been in a daze for days. I recognize the memory of having Matt tell me that he no longer thinks of suicide because he has faith that God will bring him someone to love. He tells me that he's refraining from sin, and turned to prayer to the Lord.

I see that what has worried me is pocket-sized, and that sleep doesn't matter. But what matters is that I focus on what's important in this world and what will lead to everlasting life for my siblings of Christ. What is out of or leads to love. What is of God. What would help the Lord reach more and more of His lost children. Finally I see the Light again, and I turn from vanities.

With all the thoughts and memories rushing through my head... I see that I must ask the Lord to guide me this summer.
To guide me towards Indiana.

I'm Awake!
04.19.04 (5:29 am)   [edit]
God has opened my eyes this morning. I woke up at 4:55 and I finished showering at 5:20!
Now, all I need to do is get dressed.

Today I shall finish the bible studies, so that the Word can be accessible to all that God inspires to read it.

Another Dream...
04.18.04 (10:11 am)   [edit]
I don't know the rest of the details, but all that I remember now is that I had a dream that a younger version of my brother Daniel was in the bathroom. I think I remembered that he was deported and that he was in England, true outside of the dream, in my dream and tried to talk to someone about it.
I always seem to remember the dreams where I self-realize...

I remember another dream.
04.13.04 (5:28 am)   [edit]
Sometimes, the more I try to remember dreams, the quicker they are forgotten.
I had a dream that I was lying in my bed, but my window was open, it was dark out and I couldn't see past the gray screen, and I felt like people were watching me. Then I woke up.
Strange.

Weird Dream...
04.13.04 (5:25 am)   [edit]
I went to bed at 4:30 PM.
I had a dream that I was at what was like a wedding or a class reunion, I don't know which, and there were a bunch of people huddled around a place that looked midway between the Lyceum where the prom was held and the halls of Bogie, the school that I attend. There were people outside of it, dressed up. A few fancy cars, also. And then a plane passed by. The plane turned into a highly technological jet and I wanted it to make a sonic boom, and it did. And it was loud so I wanted it to stop. And it did. I tossed the plane behind me.
And then to my upper right there were 3 people. And a fat man in a suit walked up and kissed one of the girls. I picked him up with my mind and threw him behind me and I could see in the corners of my mind, the border of nonexistance. He fell into oblivion, which was behind me where I couldn't see.
Then, I think I went crazy and started controlling things.
I didn't realize it was a dream. To me, it was reality. But I wanted to wake up from it and I tried to force my eyes open. I could feel my fleshly eyes in this world rolling around in my head, as I tried to wake myself up. For a moment there, I was in two worlds at once. I could feel myself waking up from sleep, yet was still in the dream.
The sky was an ill gray and purple.

I'm sorry, and I apologize for the Bible Study being late. I put it off, which is bad. I should have done it before Saturday on Friday night, but I wasn't thinking correctly.

There will be no more Bible Studies that do not fall on the Sabbath day.

Weekly Bible Study - Week 13
04.05.04 (6:23 pm)   [edit]
The door is there. Knock, and He shall open. He's a guide through all doors, but there is only one door. He opens every door, through one door, but to get to Him, you must first pass through the first door. Hear His voice! And when you do, knock and He shall open and invite you to eat with Him. The door is open, just knock. He is waiting for you to decide to come in. But seek Him while this door is open. For when the master of the house has shut the door, and you stand knocking, He will not answer.
The Gospel According to Luke, Chapter 11, Verse 9.

Going to my Father's House to hear the Word taught and meet my friend's father.
04.03.04 (9:13 am)   [edit]
She said she's coming over to pick me up and take me to church with them. It would take a long time if I took the bus, so I asked if she could take us over there. And now I'm getting ready to go to Church. While there I will hear the Word. I will hear the Word of my Father and I will listen to it taught. Then afterwards I will accomplish the task of asking Mary's father if I can go and take her to the prom. Toooo the prom. Take her to the prom. I don't know.
He doesn't want her dancing. Doooesn't want her dancing. Sorry for the crazy talk, but I'm singing my journal entry to a song called 'Jungle Fever,' that says, "w'ere in love." Now I must go. And change pants. Ta.

Prom! On a Budget..
04.02.04 (10:33 pm)   [edit]
Today I buy a tuxedo shirt and bow-tie. Tomorrow I go to Mary's church to serve the Lord through fellowship and meet her father. You see...
Mary's parents don't want her to dance. Mary doesn't know how. But what her parents don't know is that I'm a man of God and things like dancing aren't as important to me. I'd just like her to go there with me, and have some fun. If we can't dance, we can't dance. I'm a man of the Word. I'll keep that contract. If it's made. I still have to talk to her father.

Then... I can't drive there! I don't have any car insurance. It's too late to rent a car. And I don't have the money for limos. So it's taxi-time! I don't know how much I'll be spending on that... And then there's getting home... And dinner! I'm supposed to do that, right? I can't quite afford it... I also wanted to give flowers to her mother... Wonderful. :-(

I must...apologize. For not being able to do such things.
Gaawww... :-(
